Privacy Policy
Effective date: 20 May 2026 · Platform: PlayCrest · Region: Canada
PlayCrest is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
1. Overview
PlayCrest is a free social entertainment platform operated for Canadian audiences. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the Platform.
PlayCrest is designed with privacy at its core. Because no registration, account creation, or payment is required to use the Platform, the volume of personal information we collect is minimal by design. We are committed to transparency and to complying with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
2. Information We Collect
PlayCrest does not require you to create an account, provide your name, supply an email address, or furnish any payment information in order to access and use the Platform.
The following limited categories of data may be collected automatically when you visit the Platform:
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution. This data is collected for security, abuse prevention, and platform stability purposes.
• Usage data: Pages viewed, experiences launched, session duration, and navigation patterns. This data helps us understand aggregate platform usage and improve the user experience.
• Cookie data: We use session cookies and, where consent is given, analytical cookies to operate the Platform and measure its performance. See Section 5 for full cookie details.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as health data, financial data, government identification numbers, or biometric data.
3. How We Use Collected Information
Information collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:
• To operate and maintain the Platform in a stable and secure manner; • To diagnose and resolve technical issues; • To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve experience quality; • To detect and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorised access; • To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use collected data to build individual user profiles, to target advertising to identifiable individuals, or to sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties.
6. Data Retention
Automatically collected technical and usage data is retained for a limited period necessary to fulfil the purposes described in Section 3, typically no longer than 12 months, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Because PlayCrest does not maintain user accounts, no persistent user-linked data is retained beyond these technical logs.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable Canadian provincial privacy laws, you have the right to:
• Request access to personal information we hold about you; • Request correction of inaccurate personal information; • Withdraw consent to data collection where processing is consent-based; • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Because PlayCrest collects minimal identifiable data and does not maintain user accounts, many standard data subject requests may result in confirmation that we hold no identifiable data relating to you.
To exercise your rights, contact us through the Contact page.
8. Minors
PlayCrest is strictly an 19+ platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has accessed the Platform or submitted personal information, we will take prompt steps to delete that information and, where possible, restrict future access.
If you believe a minor has used the Platform, please contact us immediately through the Contact page.
9. Cross-Border Data Transfers
PlayCrest primarily serves Canadian users, and data processing is conducted in accordance with Canadian privacy standards. Some service providers we use may process data outside of Canada. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate contractual protections are in place to maintain a standard of protection consistent with PIPEDA.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Contact Us
For privacy-related enquiries, requests to access or correct personal information, or complaints regarding our data practices, please reach out through our Contact page. We aim to respond within ten business days.
You also have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca if you believe your privacy rights have been breached.
